For roofing companies

See every slope without climbing a single roof.

Roofers are our main focus. We capture high-resolution overhead and angled imagery of the whole roof so your team can estimate, document, and sell the job with confidence, and stay off steep or damaged roofs while doing it.

  • Safer inspections. Less time on ladders and steep pitches.
  • Overhead shots ready for measuring. Straight-down views of every roof plane.
  • Claim-ready documentation. Organized photos that support insurance conversations.
  • Before and after. Show homeowners the finished result from above.

Doing a lot of roofs? Ask about a monthly plan built around your volume.

About

Charlie Merdinian

Founder

I was born and raised in St. Louis, and I've been around construction my whole life. My parents work in the construction industry. In high school I spent my summers working for a home builder, and after graduating I went into the electrical trade.

I've also been interested in aviation for as long as I can remember. Overhead Imaging brings those two worlds together. I'm an FAA Part 107 certified remote pilot, and Overhead Imaging is a licensed and insured drone operator. I fly with the same mindset I learned on job sites: show up prepared, work safely, and deliver what the crew actually needs.

Because I know how contractors work, I know what a useful photo looks like. That means the right angles, clear detail, and files you can put to work the same day. My approach is simple: the customer comes first.

Yes. Every flight is done by an FAA Part 107 certified remote pilot, following FAA rules. Where the airspace requires it, we get authorization before we fly.

Are you insured?

Yes. Overhead Imaging LLC is a licensed and insured business, and we carry general liability insurance.

What areas do you serve?

We're based in St. Louis and serve the metro area and beyond. If you have a project, reach out and we'll do our best to get there.

What equipment do you use?

We fly a DJI Air 3S, which captures sharp, high-resolution photos and video.

How do I get my photos?

Everything is delivered digitally through a download link, so you can save, share, and use your files right away.

How much does it cost?

Every job is a little different, so we quote each project. Send us a few details and we'll get back to you quickly. Roofing companies with steady volume can ask about monthly plans.
